Just say no doesn’t work.

People will still do drugs.

We as a society are doing it all wrong.

It’s all about harm-reduction. Teaching people the TRUTH about drugs and how to safely use them instead of telling them lies.

To quote Thomas Jefferson, “I know no safe depository of the ultimate powers of the society but the people themselves; and if we think them not enlightened enough to exercise their control with wholesome discretion, the remedy is not to take it from them, but to inform their discretion.”

Education is the key to everything.

Dear Bunk,

Here is a list of policies and reforms enacted by Nixon during his years in office:

- Forced government integration of schools
- Direct diplomatic talks with anti-American dictators (Leonid Brezhnev and that Mao Zedong fellow)
- The creation of the Environmental Protection Agency
- The planned replacement of U.S. Troops with Vietnamese troops to end the Vietnam War (sound familiar?)
- Signing of the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty
- Created the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
- Implemented the Philadelphia Plan, which mandated that all federal contractors meet quotas of African-American workers (i.e. affirmative action).
- Advocated comprehensive health insurance for all Americans.
- Based his fiscal policy on Keynesian economic principles.
- Implemented Supplemental Security Income to give government aid to those over 65 and the disabled via the social security administration.

So, I now ask you, do these sound like the policies of a modern-day Republican or a modern-day Democrat?
